Neuropathy Supplement at Walmart: Which Shelf Claims Are Allowed
A supplement may describe how an ingredient supports the body, but it may not say it treats a disease such as neuropathy. A shelf bottle that names neuropathy as something it fixes is breaking the pattern. The FlowNerves front names no disease, and we know of no Walmart listing for it.

Can a shelf supplement say it treats neuropathy?
No. The FDA lets supplements make structure or function claims, such as supporting a body part, but not claims to treat, cure or prevent a disease.(FDA, Structure/Function Claims) The disclaimer that the FDA has not evaluated the statement must appear nearby.
So a front label that names neuropathy as the thing it fixes deserves a second look. The word in a product name or a bold banner is a flag, not a feature.
How do you sort the wording on the shelf?
Sort each phrase into one of three piles.
| Pile | Examples | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Allowed support wording | "Supports nerve health" | Ask what is inside and how much |
| Disease wording | Names neuropathy or says it repairs damage | Put it back |
| Proof words | "Clinically studied", "doctor trusted" | Ask whose study and which amount |
The FTC says health claims need competent scientific evidence, and a testimonial does not supply it.(FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance)
What does the FlowNerves front say?
The front reads PREMIUM FORMULA, FlowNerves, NERVE SUPPORT* and 30 CAPSULES. The asterisk points to the FDA statement. It names no disease, no result and no amount. The seller also says in its materials that the capsule is not a drug.
NERVE SUPPORT*
The only claim-style line on the front. It names no condition and no result, and no trial has tested FlowNerves, so nothing here shows a change in how your nerves work. (FDA, Structure/Function Claims)
The asterisk
It points to the FDA statement: not evaluated by the FDA, not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. FDA does not approve supplements before sale. (FDA, FDA 101: Dietary Supplements)
PREMIUM FORMULA
A grade word with no amount, purity figure or standard beside it. A premium label can still hide every amount inside a proprietary blend. (eCFR, 21 CFR 101.36)
Is FlowNerves at Walmart?
We know of no Walmart listing and have not seen the capsule on a shelf. Orders go through the seller's checkout, and the site earns a commission there. Read where to buy before trusting any listing.

See packsWhat belongs in a doctor's hands, not a shelf?
Neuropathy is a diagnosis, and a doctor makes it. Causes range from diabetes to low vitamin B12, and tests can sort them out.(NINDS, Peripheral Neuropathy) Do not let a shelf claim replace that step.
What does the FlowNerves label say?
The front of the bottle reads PREMIUM FORMULA, FlowNerves, NERVE SUPPORT* and 30 CAPSULES; it names no disease and prints no amount for any ingredient we could read.
| Item | As printed or stated |
|---|---|
| Front claim | NERVE SUPPORT* (the asterisk points to the FDA statement) |
| Count | 30 capsules per bottle |
| Directions (seller's FAQ) | 1 capsule daily with a meal and a full glass of water |
| Supplement Facts panel | Not supplied to us, so no amounts are quoted |
What is the plain takeaway?
Judge the wording, not the logo above the aisle. If a bottle names a disease it can fix, leave it there.

FAQ01
FlowNerves questions people ask
Why do some supplement bottles name neuropathy on the front?
A bottle that does may be overstepping, since supplements cannot claim to treat a disease.
Why does a shelf label put a star after the claim?
It points to the FDA statement that the claim has not been evaluated.
Is a store brand supplement held to a lower standard?
The same supplement rules apply, and the FDA does not approve any of them before sale.
