FlowNerves Medical, FDA and Affiliate Disclaimer

Quick answer

This website gives general information about FlowNerves capsules and is not medical advice. FlowNerves is a dietary supplement, not a drug, and the FDA has not evaluated the statements made about it. The site earns a commission on orders and is not the manufacturer. See a clinician before use, and call 911 in an emergency.

In one box01

What does this disclaimer cover?

It covers every page on this site. The pages describe a dietary supplement, quote the seller's claims, and summarize public research. They do not diagnose anything, and they do not tell a reader what to take.

Before you take it

FlowNerves is a dietary supplement, not a treatment and not a neuropathy medicine. Ask your doctor or pharmacist first if you take a blood thinner such as warfarin, a diabetes medicine or insulin, a blood-pressure medicine or thyroid medicine, if you have kidney, liver or gallbladder disease, or if you are pregnant or nursing. Alpha lipoic acid can lower blood sugar, and turmeric and coenzyme Q10 can interact with blood thinners. See medicine safety and side effects.

The short version fits in three sentences. The site is information only. The product is a supplement, not a medicine. The people who wrote the pages earn money if you buy, so read with that in mind.

The sections below spell out each part so that nothing is left to a footnote.

No02

Is the information medical advice?

No. Nothing here creates a doctor-patient relationship, and no page replaces a visit with someone who can examine you, read your records and know your medicine list.

General information cannot account for your age, your kidneys, your liver, your blood sugar, a pregnancy or the other pills in your cabinet. A clinician can.

Please use these rules of thumb.

  • See a doctor for tingling, numbness or burning in the hands or feet. Common causes such as diabetes and low vitamin B12 can be tested.(NINDS, Peripheral Neuropathy)
  • Ask your prescriber or pharmacist before you add any supplement to a medicine list.
  • Never stop or lower a prescribed medicine because of anything you read on this site.
  • Tell every clinician about every supplement you take.
Call 911

Sudden weakness or numbness on one side, a drooping face, trouble speaking, chest pain or trouble breathing are emergencies. Do not wait for a supplement or a web page.

The asterisk03

What does the FDA statement mean?

The front of the bottle prints "NERVE SUPPORT*". The asterisk points to the standard statement that the FDA has not evaluated the claim and that the product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. The images we have do not show where that sentence sits, so confirm it on the bottle you receive.

The FDA does not approve dietary supplements for safety or effectiveness before they are sold, and the company is responsible for the safety of its product.(FDA, FDA 101: Dietary Supplements) Structure and function wording is not pre-approved either, and it may not name a disease.(FDA, Structure/Function Claims)

What the statement does and does not mean
PhraseReading
"Not evaluated by the FDA"The agency did not review the claim before the product was sold
"Not intended to treat"The seller does not claim a treatment
"FDA approved"Not true of FlowNerves, and not true of any supplement
"NERVE SUPPORT*"Marketing wording, not a finding

We make one more point about the FDA. FlowNerves is not FDA approved, and we have found nothing to suggest it is registered either. A reader who sees either phrase in an ad should ask for the document.

How we earn04

How does the affiliate arrangement work?

We earn a commission when a reader buys through an order link on this site. The price is the same for the buyer. Every order button leads to the seller's checkout, and payment happens there.

That arrangement is a conflict of interest, and we name it so you can weigh our words. Four rules keep it in check.

  1. We do not publish ratings, review counts or customer quotes, because none has been verified.(FTC, Final Rule Banning Fake Reviews)
  2. We do not write that the capsule treats, repairs or relieves any condition.
  3. We cite a public source for each factual claim, and say when there is none.
  4. We state in plain words what is not printed on the label.

The FTC expects health claims to rest on competent and reliable scientific evidence, and we hold our pages to that standard even though we are only an information site.(FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance) See the about page for who runs the site and the editorial standards for the full rulebook.

Our role05

What is this site, and what is it not?

Theflownerves is described as a USA authorized retailer, and this website is its information site. It is not the manufacturer or the distributor. No maker or distributor is named on the bottle images we have.

  • It is not a pharmacy and does not dispense medicine.
  • It is not a clinic and does not diagnose or treat.
  • It is not the order desk and cannot see orders.
  • It is a source of plain information, with links to public sources.

The sales page could not be read by our tools, so seller facts come from the seller's brief and are marked as the seller's. Prices and the 60-day promise follow the brief, and the live checkout is the final word on the total and the terms.

Limits06

How accurate is what you read here?

We work from the bottle front, the seller's brief and public sources, and we update pages when a source or a fact changes. Each page shows the date of the last update. Even so, mistakes happen, and research moves.

Studies of single ingredients describe those ingredients at set amounts. They are not studies of FlowNerves, and the label as we have it prints no amount for any of the six names. The FTC says results for one product do not carry over to another.(FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance)

If you spot an error, write to the website inbox listed on the contact page. We will check it and fix it. A correction request never needs a reason, only the page and the sentence.

FAQ07

Disclaimer questions

Does reading this site make me a patient of anyone here?

No. The site offers general information. It has no clinicians who treat readers, and it creates no patient relationship.

Is the medical reviewer a doctor who has examined FlowNerves?

A reviewer, once named, reads the pages for safety errors. No reviewer has been named yet, and no reviewer tests the capsule.

Can the commission change what you write about the product?

It gives us a reason to want sales, so we limit ourselves: no invented reviews, no promised results and no unsupported claims.

Do I pay more because the link is an affiliate link?

No. The price is the seller's price at checkout. Confirm the total before you pay.

Why does the page say to ask a pharmacist?

A pharmacist sees your whole medicine list and can check names such as turmeric, coenzyme Q10 and alpha lipoic acid against it.

Is it safe to take FlowNerves with my prescriptions?

We cannot say. Several of the six names can interact with common medicines, so ask your prescriber or pharmacist before the first capsule.

What if I disagree with something on the site?

Write to the website inbox with the page and the line. If a source supports your point, we change the page.
